StudentWare ("we," "us," "our," or "the Website," accessible at studentware.org) provides free academic content for students in Bangladesh, including textbook chapters, formulas, exercises, examples, and university admission information. By creating an account or otherwise using StudentWare, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

1. Who This Policy Applies To

StudentWare is intended for use by anyone aged 13 years or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will delete that information as soon as possible. When you create an account on StudentWare, we collect:

If you choose to save content (such as formulas, exercises, or notes) to your account, we store a record of the saved items linked to your account so that you can access them later.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, our servers may automatically log basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited. This is used only for security, troubleshooting, and improving the Website — not for advertising or profiling.

2.3 Cookies

We use only essential cookies (for example, to keep you logged in and remember your session). We do not currently use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.

5. University & Admission Information

Information about universities, admission notices, and related academic content displayed on StudentWare is provided for general informational purposes. This content is not personal data and is not linked to your account activity beyond standard page-visit logs described in Section 2.2.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including password encryption and access controls on our servers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our active systems, except where we are required to retain certain data for legal, security, or fraud-prevention purposes.

• Access: You can view the personal information tied to your account at any time by logging in.
• Correction: You can update your name, email, or password from your account settings.
• Deletion: You can permanently delete your account and associated saved data at any time using the self-service delete option in your account settings.

StudentWare does not currently process any payments. If we introduce paid or premium features in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated to describe what payment-related information is collected and which payment processor(s) are used before such features go live.

StudentWare is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under that age. See Section 1 for more details.
